Total fat bomb of a dinner, but so good! 😁 Burgers with a slice of cheese and a fried egg, and salad of romaine hearts, tomatoes, tiny bit of shredded cheese, red hot pork rinds, and dressing made from Greek yogurt, mayonnaise and taco seasoning.
Eating high fat is fine for most healthy people, but do be aware when adding more fat to your diet, you have to cut carbs somewhere, unless you're purposely upping your calories. A high fat + high carb diet is a highly palatable recipe for disaster if you're watching your weight. 😆
You don't have to drastically slash your carb intake for weight maintenance, but it is one method that works for a lot of people. Doing so automatically cuts out a lot of nutrient-depleted, highly processed, high calorie foods. Fat and protein are highly satiating, but fat is calorically dense, so it's still possible to overeat in terms of your body's needed daily calories. And if cutting carbs really low isn't something you can stick with or you do a significant amount of high intensity activity, it's not the only way to go!
